About Integrity Electric

We started at 23 because our community deserved better than what we kept getting.

The Story Behind the Name

I was young when I decided to open Integrity Electric. Too young, some people said. But I'd watched enough jobs go sideways, seen enough contractors cut corners, and heard enough frustrated homeowners describe the same problem: they couldn't trust who they called. The electrician would show up late, do half the work, and disappear. Or worse, leave you with something that wasn't quite right but you couldn't quite prove it.

That gap is what pushed me to start. Tyler needed electricians who treated your home like it mattered. Who finished what they started. Who explained things instead of just handing you an invoice. I named it Integrity Electric not because I wanted to sound official. I named it that because that's the only way I knew how to work. The name was a promise to myself and to everyone who called.

The early jobs were the real teachers. I remember a kitchen remodel where the previous electrician had wired something wrong. The homeowner showed me what another contractor said they'd charge to fix it. I spent an extra day getting it right because leaving it broken would've been the opposite of everything I'd named the company. That's when I realized: your reputation isn't built in the big moments. It's built in the small decisions when nobody's watching.

'I named it Integrity Electric because that's the only way I know how to work. The name was a promise to myself and to this community.'

What We've Learned Along the Way

We stand by our name because we've learned that quality isn't negotiable. I've seen what happens when you take shortcuts. A loose connection today becomes a fire risk tomorrow. A hurried install becomes a costly repair next year. So we do the work right the first time because we've seen what corner-cutting costs people, and that's not what Integrity Electric does.

We've also learned that being some of the best electricians in Tyler and East Texas means staying curious. Code changes. Technology changes. Methods improve. We keep learning because our community's homes are evolving, and we need to evolve with them. You notice it when you work with us: we ask questions. We explain what we're doing and why. We don't treat your electrical system like it's beneath explanation.

The biggest lesson came from the early days when I realized I couldn't do every job myself. Hiring meant finding people who shared the same standard. I've turned down plenty of work because the team wasn't available to do it right. That's harder than just saying yes to everything, but it's the only way to stay true to what the name means. When you call Integrity Electric, you're not getting a rotating cast of contractors. You're getting our people, trained our way, holding the same standard.

How We Work

Working with us is straightforward. We show up on time, we understand what you need, and we finish what we start. You'll notice we ask questions upfront because rushing into a job is how mistakes happen. We'll walk you through what we're finding and what it means for your home. No jargon. No pressure to do more than you actually need.

Whether you're dealing with a flickering outlet, planning an upgrade, or need a full system diagnosis, we treat your electrical needs with the same care we'd want for our own homes. That's not a slogan. That's just how we decided to work when I was 23 and tired of seeing it done another way. If you need an electrician you can trust, give us a call. We'd like the chance to show you what integrity actually looks like.
